Mozilla Firefox 12 Aurora is the Alpha version of Firefox. Please note that because this is an early development version of Firefox, it can be very unstable and may not work with many add-ons. If you want to test the latest version of Firefox then the Aurora releases are always worth keeping track of.
One of the first things you'll notice with Firefox Aurora however is that many of your add-ons are incompatible with it. Most of the major changes in Firefox 12 Aurora are in the Android version which finally supports Adobe Flash and has a native Android interface although Sync has been temporarily removed.
For Windows and Mac users the User Account Control panel has been removed after installation and you can now import bookmarks from Chrome. Other changes are mainly under the hood such as more support for HTML5 and Google's SPDY protocol for faster site loading can now be tested. In addition, there's support for 3D web page visualization and HTML5 video controls have been redesigned.
There are no major changes to the appearance. Firefox 12 Aurora doesn't offer anything special but hardcore Firefox fans should keep an eye on it for the latest Mozilla innovations.
